A collaboration with designer Lara Klawikoski who created a collection of garments ‘made from recycled , up-cycled and re-used pieces of plastic and off-cuts of industrial material’, drawing inspiration from flowers in Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden in South Africa. These photographs serve as a direct confrontation of fast fashion and the detrimental impacts that it is having on our global environment. This work shows that although the past will remain as it is, there is work that can be done today and tomorrow to ensure that better is to come for the planet.
